In addition to Paul McLoughlin (alto & soprano saxophones and flute), the band has included Lee Neale (guitar), Sue Neale (vocals & tenor saxophone). Mick McLoughlin (tenor saxophone), Pete Clark (fretless bass), Nigel Fox (piano), Roger Pinkerton (drums), Fred Harris (drums), and Adam Roman (drums). Links to the music will be added soon. Paul McLoughlin has played a number of duo gigs with Pete Clark or Lee Neale, and Paul, Mick and pianist Dave Frankl have played at the Poetry Caf√© in Covent Garden, where Paul has also shared the stand with the poet-musicians John Lucas and John Mole, and pianist Matthew Lucas. The London party at Vout O Reenees to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Dark Horse¬†poetry magazine included music from the Lucas-McLoughlin Trio (and a brilliant cameo on harmonica from the magazine’s editor, Gerry Cambridge).
